Have you visited the Big Buddha in Hong Kong? It's really huge and tall! But first, you need to climb up a long flight of stairs to reach it!
It took me about 15 minutes to reach the top. Not that difficult if you are relatively fit. But let me tell you, seeing the Big Buddha statue at the top is well worth the climb.
Weighing about 250 tons and reaching about 34 metres in height, this giant bronze statue can be seen as far away as Macau.
Located at Ngong Ping on Lantau Island, you can reach here by taking the cable car from Tung Chung. It's one of the famous tourist attractions in Hong Kong and I highly recommend a visit here at least once in your life!

Fancy Wearing A Chinese Costume?
When I was in Guilin, China a few years back, I saw a lady wearing a traditional Chinese costume while visiting the The Elephant Trunk Hill. The lady was wearing it so that tourists could take photos of her.
My friend commented that he would love to get such a dress for his wife! So we went around Guilin searching for one.
In the end, we stumbled upon this stall. It was located inside the Seven Stars Park. There were costumes for ladies and men. I did not take photos of the men's costumes simply because I was not interested. LOL.
Anyway, my friend bought one. I forgot how much it costs him but it was not exactly cheap. It turned out that the dress fits his wife perfectly and she was very happy with it!

Have You Seen The Floating Baby?
There is a floating baby in Singapore and I kid you not!
Look, this is the photo I took. It's actually a huge sculpture located at the Meadows in Gardens By The Bay. Can you see that the baby is floating in the air?
Weighing at about 7 tons, this huge piece of art seems to defy the laws of gravity.
But if you look carefully, the baby is not really floating. One hand is actually resting on the ground although you won't notice it at first sight. The artist had skilfully balanced the heavy sculpture on just that one hand alone. Pretty amazing, no?
Anyway, this floating baby sculpture is called 'Planet'. It is the works of British artist Marc Quinn.
If you ever visit Singapore, don't miss this amazing piece of art. Remember to snap a photo of the floating baby with the famous Marina Bay Sands in the background!

Rugged Vintage Traveler's Notebook
If you are thinking of getting the perfect gift for your travel buddy or simply anyone who loves traveling, check out this rugged vintage traveler's notebook!
This quality brown leather planner is an awesome tool to jog down important notes while you are backpacking somewhere in Nepal or Bali for instance. Its size is about 8.4 inches long and 5.1 inches wide - not too small or too big in my opinion. The thickness is about 1.6 inches although that depends on how many inserts you want to put inside. The papers inside are soft to the touch and are refillable.
I bet anyone who gets this as a gift will treasure it for years to come. And believe it or not, it even smells good!

12 Space-Saving Hacks For Packing Your Travel Luggage
What is the one thing you hate about traveling? For me, it's packing my travel luggage! OK, maybe packing is not so bad, it's the unpacking that is worse, no?
There's only one thing I don't agree with this video - putting the shoes together with the clothes. That's just not right! Unless the shoes are brand new and clean of course. Otherwise, I would suggest putting the shoes inside a plastic grocery bag first.
Anyway, I would like to share these 12 space-saving hacks so that you can pack in more stuffs into your suitcase with minimum effort! Watch the video below.
