The Big Buddha In Hong Kong

Have you visited the Big Buddha in Hong Kong? It's really huge and tall! But first, you need to climb up a long flight of stairs to reach it!

It took me about 15 minutes to reach the top. Not that difficult if you are relatively fit. But let me tell you, seeing the Big Buddha statue at the top is well worth the climb.

Weighing about 250 tons and reaching about 34 metres in height, this giant bronze statue can be seen as far away as Macau.

Located at Ngong Ping on Lantau Island, you can reach here by taking the cable car from Tung Chung. It's one of the famous tourist attractions in Hong Kong and I highly recommend a visit here at least once in your life!
